FAQ

Why do you use Assessments and Surveys?

Many assessments only test for behaviors, but through TTI, we can measure both behaviors and motivators—the “Why?” of behaviors. TTI is responsive, affordable, and regularly updated. Our President Antonette Lucente has earned certification in all areas of TTI assessments.

What kind of training does Blue Gill do?

Blue Gill offers customized training in a wide variety of areas for both organizations and individuals. Since we have strong business acumen we identify areas of need through a business analysis approach. Training topics include but not limited to leadership development, customer service, supervisory skills, culture-building, and management consulting. Schedule a complimentary needs assessment by A) accessing our calendar or B) email Antonette@bgfishpond.com or phone 937-296-0004.

What makes your training more effective than that of other consulting businesses?

At Blue Gill, we believe training should be conducted with the same quality as formal educational instruction. Training sessions without concrete steps for completion post-training are pointless. Thus, in every training session, we provide tips, tools, and strategies to encourage applying the new knowledge. In addition to including case studies for attendees to immediately test their skills with, our training is customized to fit the size, industry, culture, and departments of your organization.

What is career coaching?

Career coaching is designed to empower professionals who desire to grow themselves inside or outside of an organization. In addition to a leadership development program, we also offer personalized dream-to-reality career plans.

What is OCILB and why do you provide that training for the state of Ohio?

OCILB is the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board, which is part of the Ohio Department of Commerce. This Board, among other things, provides licenses for plumbers, HVAC professionals, Hydronics, refrigeration specialists, and electricians. Maintenance of such licenses requires eight (8) hours of training every year. Blue Gill Consulting Group is a state-approved training agency (#639) that provides the required 8-hour training in 2-hour segments or all-day classes four times annually. For each training session, we provide informative handouts, networking opportunities, as well as lunch.
